A pair of Region 2 rivals met up Thursday night at Brown Gym, and Campbell outscored William Blount 51 to 44 to stay unbeaten on the season.  It marks the second Campbell County High School win over Blount in less than a month.  This time, the Lady Cougars won on their home floor after winning 48-46 in a squeaker on the Governors court.

Haley Comer led all scorers with 21 points, 15 in the second-half, while Skylar Boshears tallied 15 on the night.  Madison Brady added eight and Emily Ellison chipped in seven.

The Lady Cougars are 11 and 0 in all games and take a 5 & 0 district record into Monday’s home game with district foe Halls.  Campbell sits atop the District 3 standings.

The Cougars played a limited rotation Thursday night in their home game with William Blount.  The six Cougars that played all scored with Spencer Boshears putting up 14 points followed by eight each from Landon Addington and Nate Walden.  Jake Lane and Carter Wells scored five and two points respectively.  Bryce Duncan had three points and 10 big rebounds.

The Governors won 54 to 40.  Campbell falls to 0 & 13 on the year.
