LAFOLLETTE, TN., (WLAF) -A Jacksboro woman probably regrets bailing Branden Robert Treadway out of jail.

On June Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Cody Douglas answered a domestic violence call at a home on Pinecrest Road on June 9; the victim alleged she had been strangled. When Douglas arrived, he spoke with the victim who said she had bonded Treadway out of jail the night before. However, an argument ensued because he allegedly wanted to use drugs and accused the victim of cheating on him. The victim stated that while in the bedroom Treadway had grabbed by her by the throat with one hand. He then allegedly choked her and slammed her down on the bed. While choking her Treadway allegedly said “If you cheat on me, it would be the last time you do, do you understand,” according to a report from the sheriff’s department. Douglas noted in the report the victim had injuries such as red scratch marks on her neck that were consistent with her statement.
Treadway, 28, 916 West Forrest Street, LaFollette is charged with aggravated assault by domestic violence. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 06/18/2019-6 AM)
