Lauren Jones is in custody.  Jones has been featured over the past week in WLAF’s Crime Stopper series.  Campbell County Sheriff Department’s Chief Deputy, Jeremy Goins, tells WLAF that Jones was arrested at 3:15 pm on Wednesday at a home  up the valley at 136 Log Home Lane in La Follette.  Goins says that deputies received information of Jones’ location just prior to her arrest.

Lauren Ashley Jones was wanted on a probation violation, according to reports. She was originally charged with promoting the manufacture of methamphetamine and reckless aggravated assault.  The 29-year old Jones is from La Follette and has been booked into the county jail eight times.  She was most recently released from the Campbell County Jail in June 2018.

Jones is the fifth person, and first female, to be featured since Crime Stoppers first aired in October.  She is the third of the five to be captured. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/21/2018-5PM)
