At least one person was injured in this Thursday morning accident.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- One person was injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Thursday morning when a white BMW SUV struck a power pole cutting the pole in half.

The SUV was thought to be west bound into town and ended up facing south off the highway.

Just after 7:30 is when the accident happened on East Central Avenue near the Tobacco Mercantile Store, between La Follette Medical Center and the La Follette Post Office.

La Follette Fire and Police along with Campbell EMS and EMA responded along with crews from LUB.

Air bags deployed as debris was scattered as far as 40-feet away from the scene of impact. It appeared the SUV was traveling west into La Follette, and the vehicle ended up turned around facing the four lane. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-11/13/2025-8AM)
