Begins at 5pm followed by workshop at 5:30pm

CARYVILLE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- The Town of Caryville Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold a special called meeting Monday, October 20, 2025 at 5:00 p.m., at the Caryville Municipal Building.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the following:

  1. Council to approve Ordinance NO. 2025-09, an ordinance to amend personnel policies regarding the work week definition.
  2. Council to approve for the Fire Department to apply for the Tennessee Volunteer Firefighter Equipment and Training Grant.

The Town of Caryville Board of Mayor and Aldermen will conduct a workshop session on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.

The workshop will take place at the Caryville Municipal Building located at 4839 Old Highway 63 in Caryville, Tennessee. The reason for the workshop is to meet with Margaret Norris, Municipal Management Consultant from MTAS to discuss the next steps in the Town Administrator position.
