WLAF’s Final Four Fun Run tips off Friday at 5:30am

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- It’ll be a mad scramble, more than usual, around WLAF for about two hours Friday morning. From 5:30am until about 7:30am, those wanting to play in the annual Final Four Fun Run need to call 423.562.1450 or email to wlaf@1450wlaf.com.

Come on, play along in the annual “WLAF Final Four Fun Run”. Cash prizes and Charley’s Pizza will be awarded to those who have a team make it to the Final Four.

On Monday, WLAF’s Aaron and Jim will randomly draw the names of the 64 qualifiers and then blind draw an NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament team for each name.  

However, there are two honorary qualifiers already on the list; Leon “Swish” Caldwell and Monty Bullock. Swish qualifies because he’s the oldest former La Follette Owl to participate, and Bullock will only qualify if his favorite team, the Prairie View Panthers, make the tourney.

The Florida Gators were crowned as the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Champions, and Fred Stagnolia was the winner of the WLAF’s Final Four Fun Run.
