William “Jr.” Ray Lee Estep, age 69, of Jacksboro passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at UT Hospital.

Born on May 29, 1956, Jr. was a hardworking man whose life was defined by love, laughter, and dedication to his family. He spent his years working as both a cook and a skilled mechanic, always willing to lend a hand or share a story with those around him.

Jr. is survived by his devoted wife, Wanda Lorene Estep, and their children: Charita Estep, Jason Estep and his spouse Jackie Estep and Tiffany Howard and her spouse Jarrod Davenport. He was a proud grandfather to Tyler Spainhour, Brianna Estep, Marcus Creekmore, Peyton Estep, Korey Creekmore, Landon Estep, Kaylee Howard, Michael Davenport, and Jase Davenport. He was also blessed with one great-grandchild, Anastasia Rose Spainhour, all of whom brought him endless joy.

Jr. will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and the deep love he had for his family. His laughter and presence will be clearly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Wesley Duncan and Rev. Rick Duncan Officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 AM Friday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery for 12 Noon Interment.
