Expect delays in the 3000 block of Cedar Creek Road

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Around 8:30 Thursday morning, an 18-wheeler wrecked flipping off the roadway while traveling along Cedar Creek Road.

The wrecked 18-wheeler is not easy to spot when looking down from Cedar Creek Road.

Near the S curve and close to the Mariner Point Road turn off is where the big rig left the road.

The scene of the wreck is west of Cedar Creek Bridge.

The driver was able to climb out of the cab through a window, according to officials.

A minor two vehicle accident, non-injury, happened on the Walters Funeral Home hill on East Central Avenue at 6th Street around 9am Thursday. (PHOTO COURTESY OF WLAF’S SUSAN SHARP)
