Pick up truck goes off icy-snowy Ivy dale Road down an embankment

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- In the predawn hours of Wednesday, a pick-up truck slid off Ivy dale Road traveling about 20 to 30-feet down an embankment.

On Ivy dale Road, past McCormick Cemetery Road, at 6:17am is where and when the accident happened.

A man and a woman were in the truck and were transported to the La Follette Medical Center.

Campbell EMS and Sheriff’s Office responded along with the Campbell Rural Fire Service and La Follette Rescue Squad.

It was similar to Tuesday’s rescue on McCloud Mountain Trail in that first responders dealt with a snowy, ice covered road. However, in this case, it was more than an hour before daybreak, and it was foggy. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-02/05/2026-6AM-PHOTO SUBMITTED)
