Thursday will open in the teens with slippery spots on the roads, bridges and overpasses

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Tuesday brings a sunny, breezy day with a high of 53, then 35 tonight. A brisk day is on tap Wednesday with a high of 47 and showers likely, mainly in the afternoon. Rain changes to snow Wednesday night as temperatures slip to 19.

Accumulating snow is likely across the higher elevations of Campbell County, with low chances, less than 30 percent, for the valley Wednesday night into Thursday.

Significant snow accumulations will be possible mainly across the higher terrain with snow sticking to roof and car tops and grassy surfaces in the lower elevations.

The Thursday morning commute will likely be a slippery one here in Campbell County.
