Groundbreaking at Caryville was held in December 2023 at Collins Industrial Park

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF)- Energy Company United Rare Earths is edging closer to phase one construction at its site at the industrial park in Caryville.
United Rare Earths’ CEO Jeff Willis and media/marketing official Jennifer Troxel were in Campbell County Monday to meet with involved officials and review the progress of the site preparation for the Phase One construction at Collins Industrial Park.
Willis met with Senator Ken Yager, County Mayor Jack Lynch, Deputy Mayor Randy Brown, Commission Chairman Johnny Bruce, Caryville Mayor David Chambers, Caryville Alderman Josh Monday and Joint Economic and Community Development Board Chairman Jay Willoughby prior to visiting the Industrial Park for a briefing on the project’s status and future economic impact on the county and state.
Willis shared with the group how “valuable the support of Senator Yager and Representative Dennis Powers had been in advancing their project.”
United Rare Earths is an “energy company in pursuit of clean and sustainable energy.” The company was founded by Jeffrey Willis, John Graves and Dr. Bob Wright and held a groundbreaking in Caryville in December 2023 at Collins Industrial Park.
Once the facility is up and running, it will result in “high paying jobs” for Campbell County, while “reinforcing the nation’s economic independence and increasing national security,” according to United Rare Earths officials. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-09/11/2025-6AM)
