LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- Potential City of La Follette Council candidate Tyler Dumont informs WLAF of his plan to run. He requested a petition earlier this week to run in the November 5 race.

Dear Citizens of LaFollette,

My name is Tyler Dumont. I am officially announcing my candidacy as city council for the City of LaFollette in the November 5th election. 

I am the son of Vanessa Dumont and Stephen Partin. 

I am married to Ashley Dumont. We have 2 Sons. We attended church at Faith way Assembly of God. 

I have thought long and hard about this decision and have decided it is time. If elected my top priority is to bring activities to LaFollette for our children and to make sure grant money is used in the appropriate way. I plan to work with city officials to make sure the city of LaFollette continues to succeed and move in the right direction. If elected as your city council member I will make sure that I am available to anyone at anytime to voice their concerns and issues. I kindly ask for your vote on November 5th.
