LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The Lafollette Regional Planning Commission met Thursday afternoon at City Hall with only two items on the agenda.

A re-subdivision of property located on West Hemlock Street was first. The applicant is John Fultz. Fultz is looking to divide the property to place homes on the different lots. Codes Officer Stuart Hurwitz said everything met the requirements, and the commission approved the motion.

Cumberland Equipment is now offering landscaping materials.

A special exception request was then brought before the board. The applicants are Rob Woodson and John Heatherly. The duo wants to move the Mulch and Stone location from North 1st Street-East Central Avenue to 1221 Jacksboro Pike, which would be at the end of the former IGA-Old Woodson’s building now housing Cumberland Equipment. Hurwitz recommended approval. The motion was approved.
