Two injured in rollover wreck on I-75

An 18-wheeler and a Chevy Trailblazer collided on I-75 four miles south of Jellico

This Chevy Trailblazer and Freightliner collided late Friday morning on I-75 in northern Campbell County.

JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – After 11:30am Friday, a big rig and an SUV came in contact with each other near Mile Marker 156, the Rarity Mountain Exit, on I-75. The Chevy Trailblazer ended up on its top, according to one source.

The mishap occurred on the southbound side and backed up traffic for miles.

Two patients were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Daniel Lawson with the Campbell County Emergency Management Agency.

Responding agencies include the Jellico Rescue Squad, Campbell County EMS, EMA and Sheriff’s Office along with the Tennessee Highway Patrol. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/07/2024-6AM)
