“We’re very excited about re-opening the Water Park that hundreds of kids will use it as summer goes along. Members of Public Works and Parks and Recreation made this happen; getting the Water Park up and running again,” said Johnny Byrge, Director of Parks and Recreation. The park had been closed since 2020.

Parks and Rec Director Johnny Byrge is with his granddaughter Emme Mundy who is considering to test out the splash park.
“Significant needed repairs were all made in-house. A lot of hard labor, work to make it happen,” said Byrge.
