At 6am, pick-up trucks collide in front of Hardee’s

The morning was breaking as officials sorted through the details of the accident.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A Chevrolet pick-up truck and a Nissan pick-up collided on the four lane in front of Hardee’s at 6am Tuesday. The Nissan ended up on its side, the driver’s side.

A 6am traffic accident temporarily slowed travelers on the four lane.

There were no injuries. However, Jacksboro bound traffic was slowed and forced into the right lane to pass by.

The Nissan ended up in the turn off to Cumberland Crossing BP while the Chevy came to a stop in the left lane of travel.

All involved escaped injury as the La Follette Fire Department’s crash truck/first responder unit was waved off.

The scene was cleared, and the road was completely reopened by 6:45am.
