Damaging wind, heavy rainfall are main threats from after lunch through sunset

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Expect a partly sunny, stuffy and breezy Thursday with a high of 78. A cold front brings increasing chances of showers and storms, especially this afternoon and evening.
A few storms may become strong to severe with damaging winds the main hazard along with heavy rainfall.
A second cold front will bring additional afternoon showers and storms Saturday. Friday will be mainly rain-free between the two systems.
