The first week of December weather offers a taste of winter

Tuesday will open a wintry mix of rain, sleet and snow along with fog

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Today, there’ll be sunshine with a high of 45 as dry conditions persist until the evening hours. It’ll be mostly sunny early, with increasing high and mid-level clouds through the day. Another system will bring gusty mountain winds and widespread rain to Campbell County and the area tonight through Tuesday. We cannot rule out seeing Tuesday begin with a wintry mix of rain, sleet and snow as temps hold steady in the 30s.

Rain and wintry mix chances diminish once we clear lunch time on Tuesday. Tuesday night brings mostly clouds and a low of 23.
