The board approved this, and the Jacksboro gym floor will be re-bid.
Also, regarding bids, the school board approved to advertise bids for milk products, grease traps and Managed Internal Broadband Services (MIBS) and Internal Connections.
In other business, the board voted on several action items including the approval of TN ALL CORPS Tutoring Innovation Grant for the 2025-2026 school year. The district will receive $74,600.00.
“This builds on the tutoring program we already have in the district,” said Lay.

Lay announced that the district had used up all its snow days and she was waiting to hear from the state how many of those days would “be forgiven.” (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-02/12/2026-6AM)
