After being at Nashville since January, State Representative Dennis Powers is back home

The Tennessee, Israel and Ireland flags are on display just outside of State Representative Dennis Powers (above) office in the Cordell Hull Building.  

NASHVILLE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- The 114th General Assembly adjourned on April 22 and will re-convene at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026.  

The General Assembly flag was taken down from the Capitol (above) and the American and Tennessee flags remain at half-mast in honor of the passing of Pope Francis.
