Cary’s Cave renovation project is completed
LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)– A dedicated group of Lowe’s employees volunteered Saturday, August 10th moving furniture, removing flooring (photo above), pulling shrubbery and organizing clothing in preparation for the renovation of Cary’s Cave, a transitional apartment in the Campbell County Children’s Center. Tracie Davis, CEO, commented that “their enthusiasm and commitment were evident in every task they tackled. We couldn’t have asked for a better group of folks to be on our team”!

Folks in red vests recently pitched-in helping all around the Children’s Center.
This project is one of 100 community projects in 2024 that make up Lowe’s Hometowns. Launched in 2022, Lowe’s Hometowns is the company’s largest-ever impact program, with a five-year, $100 million commitment from Lowe’s to renovate and rebuild community spaces nationwide.

It was a double thumbs up day.
The Campbell County Children’s Center is partnering with local Lowe’s associates, construction pros and Lowe’s impact partner Points of Light to complete the Cary’s Cave renovation project.
