Campbell was in Campbell County on Monday and was the guest lecturer at the Campbell County Bar Association meeting.
JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- Campbell County native and Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Sarah Keeton Campbell was the guest lecturer at the Campbell County Bar Association meeting yesterday.
During the luncheon, Campbell discussed her family’s roots in the county along with sharing a few childhood memories. She also spoke to the attorneys about the Tennessee Supreme Court and its functions.
Campbell, who was born in LaFollette, was appointed to the state supreme court in Feb. 2022. Related story.

She attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, on a full-tuition merit scholarship and was recognized as a Torchbearer, the university’s highest student honor. After obtaining her undergraduate degree Campbell was awarded a full-tuition merit scholarship to Duke University School of Law, where she served as managing editor of the Duke Law Journal, was a member of moot court, and participated in the Appellate Litigation Clinic.
