
KNOXVILLE, TN (WLAF)- TCAT Jacksboro President Debbie Petree had the honor of presenting at the University of Tennessee 7th Annual Engagement and Outreach Conference on October 1, 2024. She was a presenter with Stephanie Langley and Amy King with the University of Tennessee Educational Opportunity Center (EOC).
The program serves first-generation and low-income students in 27 counties in three states. The program was established in 1991 at UT-Knoxville. The presentation was entitled “Lighting the Way Increasing Post-Secondary Access to Low-Income and First-Generation Adults in Rural Communities.
Campbell County is one of the counties served by Amy King.
“TCAT Jacksboro is proud of the partnership with the EOC program as Amy can assist applicants and students make career decisions but more importantly, navigate the Financial Aid application process as well as other community resources,” Petree said.
