Fifteen programs were represented

The Padgett and Inscho families celebrated Sarah Padgett on Thursday evening at the LaFollette Church of God. Padgett earned her Advanced EMT degree as her children, Melvin, Emmett and Alexander Padgett were on hand with her husband Dexter Padgett. Parents Maggie (left) and Keith Inscho (right) were in attendance.
LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- Last week, the Tennessee College of Applied Technology celebrated the students who finished their programs. “Fifteen programs were represented as well as TCAT’s first Adult Education graduates during Thursday’s ceremony,” said Dr. Debbie Petree. Petree is the president of TCAT and was on hand for the largest graduation ceremony.

A crowd of more than 500 was on hand Thursday night.

Kole Kennedy of the Computer Information Technology College was a student speaker at the graduation ceremony.
“Thursday night saw our biggest group of graduates participating in ceremonies. The efforts of the graduates along with a dedicated group of faculty and staff made this possible,” said Petree.

Student speaker Courtney Porter was a graduate of the Cosmetology college.

State Senator Ken Yager was a guest speaker.
The ceremony was held Thursday evening at the LaFollette Church of God.
