Southern Paws is WLAF’s business of the week

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – From Chihuahuas to Great Danes, they can handle them all at Southern Paws Grooming and Spa. Southern Paws Grooming and Spa is WLAF’s business of the week. It is located at 503 West Central Ave. in LaFollette across from the big Riggs. Give Savannah and Lindsey a call at 423-281-9001.

Southern Paws offers full pet grooming services, from nail trimming, shampooing, grooming and more. They can also groom cats.

The business is co-owned and operated by Savannah Berry and Lindsey Suttles. Berry does the grooming and Suttles does the shampooing and bathing. Together, the two make a great team with their business getting five-star reviews and the reputation of the “best groomer and pet spa in town.”

Suttles and Berry started their business in July 2022 and will soon be celebrating their two-year anniversary.

“We met working at LaFollette Vet and decided to pursue a new adventure out on our own,” Suttles said. Both have multiple years of experience working with animals.

Berry has been grooming for over 7 years and has been working with animals much longer than that. 

She and Suttles took a “leap of faith” and decided to open their own shop. 

Both Berry and Suttles said they hope that Southern Paws can be an asset to the community and a place where everyone feels welcome.

 According to Suttles, the community has provided “overwhelming support” of their business over the past two years. 

“It’s been a very big blessing. The county has really backed us with our business, and we have the best clients possible,” Suttles said.

She and Berry said they wanted to say a huge thank you to all their clients for trusting them with their pets.

“We wouldn’t be here without our clients, and we appreciate them all so much,” Suttles said.
