Earlier this week, she retired from her job at LaFollette Utilities. As LaFollette Mayor Cliff Jennings read the proclamation in her honor, it was revealed that was just the last job in a life that was marked with parenting, work and community involvement.

Snodderly worked with her husband Ken at the family owned pharmacy before becoming Campbell County’s biggest cheerleader as executive director of the chamber of commerce. When she left that position she began work at the utilities office. Through it all, she parented her children John and Amy. Now, as she retires she hopes to spend more time with her grandchildren.

The ever humble Snodderly seemed taken aback by all the attention yesterday morning.
“I just don’t know what all the fuss is about,” she said. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 5/2/2024- 6AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF WLAF’S CHARLIE HUTSON)
