Meet him at the Campbell County Animal Shelter

JACKSBORO,TN (WLAF)- Meet Smokey, this legendary singer, songwriter, and producer has taken up a temporary residence at the Campbell County Animal Shelter. This kind and caring young man is truly a lover and a happy guy who enjoys being outside.

Smokey is a laid back R and B kind of guy who gets along with his shelter roommates. He is super chill and likes to sniff at the other dog’s condos to greet them and check on how everyone is doing.

Smokey enjoys a walk and a run but could use some leash training. This rock and roll hall of fame star is ready to dance to some Motown with his new family.  Smokey has a short black coat with some white on his adorable face, chest, paws and the tip of his tail. He is approximately three years old and weighs 55 pounds. Smokey is heart-worm positive but is being treated for his condition. He is making fabulous progress and will recover successfully in no time.

The impressive staff at the shelter will explain what is required for his treatment and how much longer he has to go. Smokey loves a treat and is just full of happiness. He is a mix of Labrador, Pointer, Terrier, and some really good music. Smokey trots around the shelter visiting the other dogs and as he does, he almost dances.

So go in and meet this guy and prepare to fall in love! Smokey has been in the shelter since July 29.
