A just before 9:30am accident happened at the Gamble Motor stop light on the four lane

Debris from a morning wreck was scattered across Jacksboro Pike at South Avenue.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A young man was injured in a single-vehicle, lone occupant car wreck on Wednesday morning. The call of the mishap at the bottom of South Avenue at the Gamble Motor stop light came in to La Follette Dispatch at 9:25am.

From all signs, it appears the red Kia compact car hit the light pole on the Jacksboro bound side of the four lane at the stop light. The car ended up across the four lane at the curb facing toward La Follette.

A young Campbell County man in his 20s was injured.

La Follette Fire and Police responded along with the Campbell County EMS. Traffic was temporarily down to one lane in each direction and on South Avenue. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 07/16/2025-10AM)
