Was indicted by a Campbell County Grand Jury for illegally voting in three states

JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- Charles Robert Silcox pleaded guilty to two counts of voter fraud on Monday. Count one of voter fraud was dismissed.
After pleading guilty to the Class E Felonies, Silcox was placed on two years supervised probation. He must report to his probation officer once a month while on probation. Along with this, Silcox was granted two years judicial diversion.
Judicial diversion allows certain offenders to complete court-ordered requirements in order to avoid a permanent criminal record. If all of the requirements are met, the charges can be dismissed.
Nearly two years after being indicted for voter registration fraud, Silcox turned himself into Campbell County authorities in July.
In September 2023, Silcox was indicted by a Campbell County Grand Jury for illegally voting in three states, court records said.
The charges were:
-Between Sept. 10, 2020, and Nov. 3, 2020, Silcox allegedly requested an absentee ballot from Davidson County, North Carolina. He then cast a ballot despite living in Campbell County.
-Between Oct. 2, 2020, and Nov. 3, 2020, he voted in Campbell County using an absentee ballot, the indictment said.
-He also voted in the Nov. 3, 2020, election in Pima County, Arizona, using an absentee ballot, according to court records.
In each instance, Silcox knew he wasn’t entitled to vote in those elections, the indictment said.
The indictment remained sealed and unserved for almost two years.
On July 28, Silcox walked in at the Campbell County Jail and turned himself in to authorities, according to records.
