Shirley C. Hicks, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2024, surrounded by her family. Sandra was born in Flatrock, MI in 1941 to Sylvester and Mae Lou Niner. Sandra was a graduate of Airport High School in 1959. Sandra enjoyed life and was dedicated to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed going on cruises and playing cards with her friends and family. In addition to her family, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Larry Hicks, and grandson John Scott Adkins Jr.

Granddaughters   Caro Adkins, Rachel Barnette

Great Grandchildren   Thomas, Alexis, Aaliyah, Lucas

Brother   Sylvester Niner Jr. and Peggy

Visitation: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Rocky Top.

A Committal Service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 28, 2024, at the Woodhaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Claxton.
