Roscoe Hutson was born in Campbell County

JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – World War II veteran Roscoe Hutson was born in December 1917 at Jellico. However, he made his home just across the state line at Saxton, a small Whitley County, Kentucky, coal town.

Hutson passed away Wednesday afternoon at his home with family by his side.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Force during World War II.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, from 5pm until 7pm, at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel at Jellico. Following the visitation, military honors will be presented by the Jellico Honor Guard. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/10/2024-6AM)
