Yager to host meeting to examine roads in need of repair

LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Today at 3:45pm, Senator Ken Yager (R-Kingston) is hosting the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) Commissioner Butch Eley.

The meeting takes place at Jacksboro to review the status of local roads and discuss ways the state can help repave and repair portions of roads across Campbell County.

Mayor of Campbell County Jack Lynch, and Mayor of the City of LaFollette Cliff Jennings, and TDOT Region 1 Director Steve Borden will also be in attendance at the meeting.

The group will meet at the Campbell County Mayor’s Office located at 570 Main Street at Jacksboro. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/03/2024-6AM)
