Connect to WLAF Saturday night at 7:00 o’clock for a trip back in time

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- LISTEN HERE for the fun of Casey Kasem’s American Top 40 The 70s as it trips back to August 18, 1973, Saturday at 7 pm over WLAF radio. The fun three hours of memories are brought to you by Maynard’s Auto Parts and State Representative Dennis Powers.

On this long ago countdown, the theme from the latest James Bond movie was playing on everyone’s radio, Live and Let Die from Wings. You’ll hear that song on Saturday night along with Uneasy Rider, Charlie Daniel’s first big hit, and Grand Funk’s We’re An American Band. Sly and the Family Stone had another hit on the chart, If You Want Me To Stay. In addition to these songs, you’ll hear the nation’s other top 36 songs over WLAF just like they all played here on the old radio station in 1973.

American Top 40, The 70s airs Saturday nights at 7:00 o’clock over WLAF’s FM 100.9 and AM 1450 and is brought to you by Maynard’s Wrecker Service & Auto Parts and State Representative Dennis Powers.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/15/2025-6AM)
