Steely Dan was hitting the chart with Josie as was The Who with Who Are You? Exile, from Richmond, Kentucky, topped the chart with Kiss You All Over, and it was a big year for Donna Summer. Her October 1978 smash was MacArthur’s Park, a remake of the original 1968 version from Richard Harris. In addition to these songs, you’ll hear the nation’s other top 36 songs over WLAF just like they all played here on the old radio station in 1978.
