Ruth Smith Woodward age 96, of Lake City, Tennessee, passed away on December 15, 2025 at the NHC Oak Ridge. She was born on March 27, 1929 to the late Tom and Verlie Bratcher Smith. Ruth was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church in Lake City. Ruth loved shopping, bible studies in her home, cooking, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband Neal Woodward, son: Larry Steven Woodward, grandsons: Dana Shane Woodward and Gene Woodward, and her brothers: Tommy, JT, and Paul “PD” Smith.
