Mr. Ross Edward Snodderly passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at the age of 55. Ross was always the center of attention and loved to make everyone around him laugh. He was an accomplished woodworker and enjoyed crafting projects for family and friends. He was a member of New Horizon Baptist Church and loved traveling, Jeep cruising, and being with his beloved dogs.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Charles and Edith Owens, and Walter and Charlsie Snodderly, and beloved aunts, Linda Owens Ridenour and Charlene Owens Overton.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Ross Snodderly; parents, Joe and Charlotte Snodderly, partner for life, Genealee Sims; bonus son, Brandon Lee, and his 5 grandchildren who he loved dearly; aunts and uncles, Shirley Gillum, Ken and Cathy Owens, Charles and Sandra Snodderly, and Mike Ridenour; “Second Mama”, Janice Walker; and several special cousins, and other extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at New Horizon Baptist Church (2977 General Carl W. Stiner Highway, LaFollette, TN 37766). Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. Chris Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Powell Valley Cemetery with Brandon Lee, Kadan Lawson, Cobey Raines, Ryne Stewart, Korey Taylor, and Richard Blackstock serving as pallbearers. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: New Horizon Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 459, LaFollette, TN 37766.

  2. Ross is a friend since he & our son were in school together. Always a welcome visitor in his younger years. We would always visit over the years when we ran into one another. He was always very nice & polite when we met. Ross is a very special man in our hearts & will be missed. My condolences and prayerd go out to Joe( friend for yrs.) & wife and family and friends..
