Rosemary McKessy, age 89 of Lake Worth, Florida

Mrs. Rosemary McKessy, age 89 of Lake Worth, FL passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026. She was of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. McKessy enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing mahjong, and dearly loved cooking and passing recipes down to her family. She had a deep devotion to her family and truly adored time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. McKessy is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas McKessy, parents, John and Rose Kane, and daughter-in-law, Diane McKessy.

She is survived by her sons, Stephen McKessy and wife, Karen, and Michael McKessy; daughter, Kathleen Chambers and husband, Brad; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brother, John McKessy; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

All services will take place at Palm Beach Cemetery in Lantana, FL. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the American Stroke Association (www.stroke.org). Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Rosemary McKessy.
