Ronnie Brock, AKA Papa Smurf, age 76 of La Follette, went home to be with the Lord and to be with his son, daughter, and parents on Thursday, September 19, 2024. He was born on November 23, 1947 to the late JR and Thelma Ward Brock in Jacksboro. He worked for Norfolk Western for 15 years after which he enjoyed trucking with his brother. He also spent time remodeling houses with his brother-in-law, David Fox. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Little Ronnie; daughter, Brandy; and brother, Gary Brock.

He is survived by: children, Stacy, Michael, Roni, David, and Danny; former wife, Cindy Brock; grandchildren, Tristan, Kaylie, Aubree, Kora, and Bella; great-grandchildren, Aurora, and Arlo; siblings, David Brock, Sr. and wife Adrianne, Curtis Brock and wife Glenda, Tommy Brock, Regina Brock-Fox, Linda Brock, and Brandon Brock; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

The family is planning a memorial service for a later date.
