Roman is today’s “Pet of the Week”

Roman’s adoption fee is waived for approved applicants until Friday, January 30.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Meet Roman. This guy likes food a lot. If you need a canine vacuum cleaner, just yell “housekeeping” and Roman will handle it.

Roman is a happy-go-lucky Labrador Retriever / mixed breed, smart, affectionate, and highly food-motivated. He sees treats from very far away. At three and a half years old, he’s playful, eager to learn, and always ready for fun especially if snacks are involved.

He is good with other dogs as long as they leave his snacks alone. Cats are very exciting; he confuses them for plushies.

Roman is a neutered male who weighs about 46 lbs., he is medium sized.

To meet Roman, you can find him at the Campbell County Animal Shelter and his adoption fee is waived for approved applicants until January 30.

The adoption center, animal shelter, is open Tuesday – Saturday, noon to 5:30pm, at 749 Towe String Road, Jacksboro, next to the convenience center. The center’s telephone number is 423-566-8018.
