Rodney Eaddy age 71 departed this life on Friday May 24, 2024. He was born on May 15, 1953 to the late Geoffrey and Paula Poston Eaddy. Rodney was a proud member of the U.S. Army where he served in Vietnam from 1971 to 1979. He enjoyed dirt track racing in car #22, hunting, and caramel frappes that he had to have each morning.

In addition to his parents, Rodney is preceded in death by sister, Cindi Knight; special friend/ father-in-law, Larry Bramlette

He is survived by his son, Brian Eaddy and wife Brandy of SC; daughters, Michelle Norman and husband Dusty of LaFollette, Kayla Goodman and husband Jamie of Huntsville; grandchildren, Jordan Goodman and wife Mercedese, Montana Goodman “Tera”, Kody Norman and wife Christa, Kaitlynn Whiteaker “Jonathan”, Chloe Whiteaker “Noah”, Karlie Norman “Jonathan”, Kaylee Goodman, and Makenzie Hall and husband Steven; great grandchildren, Hunter, Brentley, Nakiah, Asher, Nolan, Amari, Norah, Emberleigh, Nora, and Myla; brother-in-law, Don Knight; niece, Kellie Powell; nephew, Drew Powell, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date in South Carolina.

The family has entrusted the care of Rodney Eaddy to Martin Wilson Funeral Home “Where Families Matter Most.”
