Rochelle Yvonne Chumley, age 58 of LaFollette passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025. She attended the House of Prayer and Praise and was formerly employed as an ICU Nurse with St. Mary’s Medical Center in Knoxville. Rochelle was a hard worker, enjoyed studying her bible, and cherished the time spent with her family. She is preceded in death by husband, Ward Chumley, brother, Bobby Wilson, grandparents, Robert and Cordie Wilson, and Edward and Mildred Welden.

She is survived by her parents, Ellis and Janice (Welden) Wilson; son, James Peter Eberharter; grandchildren, Elijah and Alexis Eberhater-Chumley; great-grandson, Hezekiah Carroll; brother, Jimmy Wilson (Arlene); sister, Chyna Wilson Leach (Patrick); Several other extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. Mike Franklin and Rev. Alvin Welden officiating. Interment will follow at Powell Valley Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Rochelle Yvonne Chumley.
