LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Robins Nest Market and Antiques has extended Holiday hours and is now open six days a week; new business hours include Sundays from 1 to 5 pm and on Fridays until 8 pm.
The business has tons of Black Friday specials and will also be hosting a Christmas Open House event on Saturday, November 29th complete with Santa and Mrs. Claus! There will be festivities, décor, refreshments and goodies to eat! The open house starts at 10 am and runs till 4 pm.
Robin’s Nest is a conglomerate of local vendors setting up shop in the market with “a vast array of many different goodies such as home decor, vintage, antiques, baked goods, and many lovely items.”
Shopping at the Robins Nest supports local vendors and artisans!
With 22 vendors, there’s gifts to fit all styles and budgets, according to business owner Tonya Robinson.

“We wanted to host an open house event to encourage people to shop local and not go outside of the area,” Robinson said, adding that they have some amazing sales for the holidays.
There’s no reason to go to Knoxville, go out and support our local small businesses!
“We are home-grown, we are homemade, we’re a small business with a big heart!” Robinson said.
On Black Friday, they have a special sale on “affordable gift baskets” that fit “all budgets and all tastes.”
These are great for people who have staff they want to buy for or a lot of people to buy for and each gift basket will be customized individually.

“We have stuff like fudge, candles, Amish dish towels and everything is wrapped beautifully. We throw in something vintage and then we also have homemade pens, homemade jewelry, everything is very tastefully done. If someone gives us their vibe, their budget, we make it for them. We are not an extraordinary cost place, and have gifts to fit all budgets,” Robinson said.
The business is owned by Tonya and Rob Robinson; both are U.S. Air Force Veterans and Tonya is a Gulf War Veteran. She runs the daily operations of the business.
The pair moved to Tennessee in 2022. They are also Christian ministry workers in the field of disaster relief which has kept them busy deploying to disaster sites the past couple of years serving during tornados and hurricane clean ups. They opened up the business in March of this year and “love it so much” they want to “become permanent residents” and buy the building.
Their “current pride and joy” is their dog, Dexter. He is the store greeter and supervisor and welcomes doggie treats!

“The building has 22 vendors of some of the most wonderful people we’ve ever met, and we appreciate how the community has welcomed us; we can’t wait to meet more people and welcome the public to come check us out this holiday season,” Robinson said.
It’s a beautiful drive to get out to the store and people are welcome to come check out the space, “bring their knitting” and just enjoy the atmosphere and a cup of coffee or tea.
“We love to get out in the community, we want people to invite us to their events and if anyone wants to come up here and bring their group to do any kind of activities or have a tea party or a Christmas Victorian Charles Dickens style, we can do that do, we can accommodate those types of events as well,” Robinson said.
They also have decorators for hire to come and decorate your house or tree for the holidays!

Customers can also “shop from home” by checking out the Facebook page and messaging Tonya about the item they want and paying via Venmo, Zelle and Cashap. That item is then placed in a “hold and sold” area to be picked up.
The business is also an Angel Tree donation site and is also collecting toys for all ages up to 14 years old.
Robins Nest is located at 5782 Gen Carl W Stiner Hwy, LaFollette, Old Hwy 63, Lafollette near the Speedwell line in the Old John D. Suttles building.
You can stop by Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturdays 10am- 6pm, Fridays 10- 8pm and Sundays 1 to 5pm for a “cup of coffee or tea and a little Jesus.”
There’s something for everyone at Robin’s Nest Market and Antiques. Shop local and support small businesses this holiday season!
