LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Roane State Community College is offering multiple computer classes coming up through the WORC grant, including Excel Level 1 & 2, Word Level 1 & 2, and Power Point Level 1. These classes could potentially be free for those living in Anderson, Campbell, Fentress, Loudon, Morgan, Roane or Scott County by applying for the WORC grant, according to Campbell County Campus Director Sharon Wilson.

Classes will be taught at the Roane State Community College campus in Campbell County.

Classes offered include (all on Mondays):

Excel Level 1, February 19th and 26

Excel Level 2, March 4th and 11th

Word Level 1, March 18th and 25th

Word Level 2, April 1st and 8th

Power Point Level 1, April 15th and 22nd

All Classes run 6 pm till 9:30 pm.

The project is funded by a grant from the U.S Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration in partnership with the Appalachian Regional Commission.
