Ricky Lee Brown, age 63, of Jacksboro, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and family.

A devoted member of High Street Baptist Church, Ricky lived a life marked by faith, service, and kindness. He worked as a security officer for LaFollette Utilities and previously served in the same role at LaFollette Medical Center and St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Ricky proudly entered the United States Air Force in 1982 and later continued his service to the country as an employee of the U.S. Mint in Dallas, Texas, where he worked for 15 years.

Known to friends, family, and even those who met him only in passing, Ricky had an infectious smile, an unwavering positive spirit, and a signature phrase he shared often and genuinely: “I’m blessed.” His warmth and optimism left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Lee and Rita Jean Bolton Brown, and his infant sisters, Barbara Sue and Stephanie.

Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at High Street Baptist Church with Funeral Service at 7 PM, Rev. James Adkins officiating. Family and friends will meet 12 Noon Thursday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for 1PM Graveside Services and Interment with Military Honors by Honor Guard of Campbell County
