Rev. Matthew Ryan Bolton, age 43

On Thursday, March 12, 2026, Rev. Matthew Ryan Bolton, 43, Pastor of Friendship Community Church of Stinking Creek was carried away by a host of Heavenly Angels forever to dwell with his Heavenly Father. Matthew was a Sergeant with the Morgan County Jail, President of Truth in Love Ministries, and he enjoyed fishing, hiking, four wheeling, and going on adventures.

Matthew is preceded in death by his father Otha J.C. Bolton and baby sister Aleisha Bolton; father-in-law Rick Bourff; grandparents Earl, Vina Bolton and Floyd, and Cora Branam; special brothers-in-law Lance Huddleston and Josh Blackwell; very dear special friend Derrick Matthew Campbell; nieces Rebecca Parker and Kristina Bolton; and a host of aunts and uncles.

He is survived by the love of his life, best friend since age 15, his loving wife Amanda Bourff; mother Joyce Bolton of Stinking Creek; mother-in-law Teresa Bourff of LaFollette; brother Brian Bolton and wife Chesni of Jacksboro; sisters Brenda Inman and husband Jamie of LaFollette, Jennifer England and husband Rick of Stinking Creek, and Regina Huddleston of Stinking Creek; sister-in-law Christy Blackwell of LaFollette; special aunt and uncles Mary Sands and Jimmy of Stinking Creek and Roger Smiddy of LaFollette; nephews Joshua Huddleston and Karen Huddleston, Joshua Inman, Elijah Inman, Eli Marlow, Bret Huddleston, and Ean England; special niece and daughter Victoria England; nieces Nichole Rogers, Shyanna and Jarred Cochran, Kimberly and Colton Bolton, Emily Inman, Beth England, Jaelin Bolton, Kaliana Huddleston, Briana and Taylor McCarty, and Ashley and Jonah Jones; great nieces and nephews Aryana Carr, Ryic Carr, Declan Bolton, Levi Huddleston, Abel Bolton, Mila Bolton, Mason Huddleston, Laina Bolton, Landrie McCarty, Connor Wallace, Koda Jones, Mason Inman, Cable Inman, and Ezlyn Inman; the Members of Friendship Community Church; and a host of special family and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM on Monday, March 16, 2026, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Dusty Brock and Rev. Colton Bolton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Davis Cemetery in Stinking Creek for a 12:00 PM interment.
