Ralph Sutton, age 87, went home to be with the Lord and rejoined his wife of 68 years, Cordia Sutton. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather that enjoyed spending time in the woods, especially during deer hunting season.

In addition to his wife, Ralph is preceded in death by his son, Johnny Sutton; parents, Solomon and Dovie Miller Sutton; brothers, Roy Sutton, Leamon Sutton, Henry Sutton, and Elmer Sutton; sisters, Nancy Kable, Kathryn Sutton, Azilee Ford, Ethel Rettberg, and Lucille Sutton.

He is survived by his sons, Danny Sutton and wife Peggy of Knoxville, and Mark Sutton of LaFollette; daughter, Amy Sutton Martin of Caryville; sister, Pearl Goins; 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and several friends and other family members.

The family will receive friends from 5 PM to 7 PM on Monday December 9, 2024 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Johnny Dabney officiating. Friends and family will meet at the funeral home on Tuesday December 10, 2024 at 10:15 AM to go in funeral procession to Sutton Cemetery for an 11 AM interment.
