ROCKY TOP, TN (WLAF) – State Rep. Dennis Powers recently met with Powell-Clinch Utility District (PCUD) representatives and National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) representatives to discuss issues they are having regarding regulations and their employment workforce development.  

They discussed some programs at Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) that might be modified or added and the new law lowering the commercial driver’s license (CDL) age in Tennessee from 21 to 18 with restrictions they can only operate in Tennessee. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/28/2024-6AM)
