LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- Postmark LaFollette is proud to announce the addition of a vocal coach, Faith Marie Goins, to the  Postmark Music Program.

Vocal Instruction dates/times are being finalized (to be announced on WLAF, our website and Facebook Page soon).

Postmark is also seeking additional instructors in guitar, drum and piano. If there are other instructors out there for other types of instruments, such as brass or woodwind, please feel free to contact us, we may have an opportunity for you, too.

Postmark’s primary mission is to provide creative activities for our community that are centered around the arts from people within our community. We strive to keep costs as low as possible while providing quality programs and projects.

Postmark’s music program pays instructors $12 per half hour lesson.  Students are charged $15 per half hour session with the other $3 going to a scholarship fund to help beginning students of any age who may not have funds to pay the fee for three to six months of lessons.

Instructors work under an independent contractor agreement.  Postmark provides Instructors (at no cost) – a teaching space, all marketing (including: Facebook as well as flyers and announcements on social & local media), and Postmark will manage invoicing students on a monthly basis. Additional information will be shared with potential instructors during the interview process.

Postmark board members nor the entity receive compensation for their part of any program unless it’s as an instructor, assistant or stated in the grant proposal.
