LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- During June and July, Postmark LaFollette hosted the annual Art and Culinary Camps at its facility in the historic downtown LaFollette Post Office.

Art Camp was held for youth ages five and up over the course of the two months with multiple art disciplines taught. Culinary Camp was for youth ages nine and up, hosted in collaboration with Little Chefs Big Change, where students learned about healthy cooking and eating habits.
A public reception celebrating the students’ work was held on July 26.

Postmark LaFollette would like to thank all the students, parents/guardians, Volunteers, Instructors, Assistants, and the Katherine Davis Moore and Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Davis Foundation Fund (part of the Art Fund for East Tennessee as part of the East Tennessee Foundation) for making the Camps possible.

Art Camp and Culinary Camp will return in the Summer of 2026 which will be announced over WLAF and on the Postmark LaFollette Facebook page and website – where other Postmark events are regularly announced for the public to participate. Some of those events are plays, game nights, ghost dinners, sewing/fabric arts, music lessons, writer’s guild and an Artisan Co-op. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-08/06/2025-6AM-PHOTOS SUBMITTED)
