For the third time since January 2022, a raid was conducted at a home at 149 Poplar Lane
JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Though the names of suspects have changed over the years, the home at 149 Poplar Lane remains a popular residence for drug activity, according to law enforcement. On Monday, Campbell County Sheriff’s Investigators executed their third narcotics search warrant in recent years at the home.
It was just after 10am Monday when CCSO Detective-Sergeant David Wormsley and other investigators entered the home with search warrant in hand. No sooner had officers walked into the living room when they discovered a brown purse on a glass table. The purse allegedly contained what officers believe to be heroin. Beside the purse were two sets of scales and a large amount of hypodermic needles. On the nearby couch, a loaded Taurus G3C 9mm pistol was found.
More than $400 in cash was also located. Det.-Sgt. Wormsley believes the money is proceeds from the sale of illegal narcotics.

Officers confirmed that the suspect, 38-year old Stephanie E. Duncan (above), is a convicted felon. At 11:20am, Duncan was placed under arrest and transported to the Campbell County Jail.
Duncan’s charges include maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are used or sold, possession of a firearm during commission or attempt to commit a dangerous felony, felon in possession of a weapon, unlawful drug paraphernalia and the deliver, sell of a schedule I drug.
An October 10 court date awaits Duncan who remains housed this morning in the county jail without a bond. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/04/2024-6AM)
